Local-first data

Harbor stores settings, server profiles, and app data locally on your device. Passwords and private keys are kept out of exported configuration files.

Update checks

If you configure an update feed, Harbor may request update metadata from that URL. The feed returns the latest version, DMG URL, file size, and checksum.

Remote diagnostics

Remote diagnostics check-ins are enabled by default and can be turned off at any time in Preferences → Advanced. While enabled, Harbor sends basic device/app status to the configured diagnostics endpoint and can run only built-in read-only diagnostic actions selected in the admin panel.

No third-party analytics

This website package does not include third-party analytics scripts. Server logs may be created by your hosting provider.
